The Library of Congress is now using Flickr, a photo sharing service website, to increase public access to its visual collection. The Library of Congress has started with two collections with a total of about 3,000 images: 1930-40's in color and News in the 1910's.
Only images for which no copyright is known are included. There are some real gems in the collections, so take a look!
