We have recently renovated a study area on the lower level of the Library. You can find this spacious spot next to the "Collaboratories" (a drop-in collaborative group work area) and the print journals on the lower level.

There is also new furniture in the Quiet Study Room (room 115). The Quiet Study Room is another drop-in space on the lower level, which features different types of seating, a large whiteboard, and white noise machines.

Did you know we have a new Lactation Room for caregivers? It offers a private space for caregivers who need to express breast milk during their time on campus and is located on the lower level of the Library and accessible during building hours. This is the first space to be fully dedicated for this purpose on campus, created in partnership with the Office of Human Resources and Facilities Management. The Lactation Room can be reserved for 30 minute increments and the reservation link is available to staff, faculty, and students whom register with the Office of Human Resources. For more information see the article in our recent Library newsletter.
