Changes to Grove Art and Grove Music Online

Grove Art Online and Grove Music Online have undergone some major changes. Now they are accessible through a brand new interface from Oxford, and integrated with some key Oxford Reference Resources.

Oxford Art Online now contains the full content of Grove Art Online, as well as the full text of the Encyclopedia of Aesthetics (4 vols), the Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms, the Oxford Companion to Western Art, as well as new Grove/MoMA learning resources, a world art timeline and thematic guides, and linking with ARTstor.

Oxford Music Online combines all of the content of Grove Music Online with The Oxford Companion to Music and The Oxford Dictionary of Music. Additionally there is now also linking to musical content in our Classical Music Library database.

Grove Music Online overlaps considerably with the preceding two resources in subject matter
Another very important feature of Grove Music Online are the listings of works included with articles about composers. Most articles include a substantial bibliography to assist with further research.
