Database Changes at the Library

With the start of the new fiscal year, we have made some changes to our database holdings that we want to make you aware of.  Due to low usage, we have elected to cancel the following databases:

Conference Board
Books in print
Columbia Grangers World of Poetry
Marquis Bibliographies Online
Proquest Congressional
The SRDS suite of products, including Local Market Analyst
Journal Citation Reports
Cabell' Directories
Social Sciences Full Text

We have added two new resources:  Humanities Source, and Political Science Complete.

Humanities Source is an upgrade (and therefore, replaces) the Humanities Full Text database.  This resource provides scholarly articles on a wide range of topics with the Humanities, including: Art, Classical Studies, Communications, Film, Folklore, Gender Studies, History, Literary and Social Criticism, Music, Performing Arts, Philosophy, and Religion. In addition to journal articles, the database also contains obituaries, bibliographies, original works of fiction, book reviews, and reviews of ballets, dance programs, motion pictures, musicals, operas, and plays.

Political Science Complete  provides coverage of global political topics with a worldwide focus, reflecting the globalization of contemporary political discourse. Subject areas include organizational studies, peace and conflict studies, economics, human rights, and public policy and administration.

As always, we appreciate  your feedback. You can use our online form, or contact Curtis Ferree,
