Once again this Fall, the Irish Studies Program is proud to present the "Irish in Film" Series at Fairfield University. The first film installment is the 2002 dramatic and historical film, "Bloody Sunday", which will be hosted on Wednesday, September 30th at 7:00 pm. Director Paul Greengrass does a phenomenal portrayal of the controversial events that took place on the day of January 30, 1972, which left a death toll of fourteen protestor casualties on the streets of Derry, Northern Ireland. English Professor, Doctor Robert Epstein will be responsible for the film's introduction.
