All Love: An LGTBQ Film Series
In celebration of LGBTQ History Month, Fairfield University presents a series dedicated to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer/Questioning (LGBTQ) experiences through film on three consecutive Tuesdays in October. All films are free and open to the general public. Light refreshments will be served and all screenings will take place in the DiMenna-Nyselius Library Multimedia Auditorium on the lower level of the library. These films are First Year Experience (FYE) approved events.
The Incredibly True Adventure of 2 Girls in Love - Tuesday, October 18 at 7 p.m.
A story of first love between two girls in their senior year of high school. Randy Dean, falls in love with Evie Roy. Intrigued and charmed by each other, the two begin an unlikely romance that sets into motion a series of comic misadventures culminating in a showdown at a motel where family and friends converge to keep the young lovers from running away together. A celebratory lesbian romantic comedy, this film is considered a Queer Cinema classic.
