
On June 28, 1970, the one year anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, the first Pride marches were held in New York, Los Angeles & Chicago. Since then LGBTQ+ community & allies have continued to gather in June to march for Pride. On the main level of the Library we have books on display about LGBTQ+ Pride Month parades and Stonewall.
