
Some Highlights of 2022:
- Room refreshes - Some study areas were enhanced on the lower level and a Lactation Room was created for caregivers.
- We made a plan! - We created a new Library mission and values statement, and Strategic Plan.
- Connections were made - Stags and community connected through programs like Stags Share Stories, Words of Hope in the Chaos, reading challenges and more.
What We Are Looking Forward to in 2023:
- The One Book One Town title reveal and author event - The 2023 One Book One Town title will be announced on Jan. 10th at the Fairfield Public Library and the author event will be held on campus in March at the Quick Center for the Arts.
- Douglas Day Transcribe-A-Thon - We will host this event on 2/14, joining libraries and museums across the country, to create new & freely available resources for learning about Black history. Register on our website to be part of the fun.
- Hosting several exhibitions - Several exhibits will be popping up in collaboration with faculty and students from the department of Religious Studies, Biology, and the Fairfield University Art Museum.
- Working with each of you - Our librarians are here to support your research needs!
