The Library is pleased to offer a trial of Kanopy. Kanopy is a streaming video service offering 26,000 films from over 800 of the industry's leading producers, including producers and distributors, including Criterion Collection, Kino Lorber, Media Education Foundation (MEF), First Run Features, PBS and BBC Active. Subject areas covered include the Arts, Business, Education, Global Studies & Languages, Health, History, Languages & Literature, Media & Communications, Sciences, Social Sciences, and Technical Training.
Kanopy features an intuitive, easy-to-use viewing platform, and the ability to create clips and playlists and to embed films into Blackboard and link your students to them. In addition to this, you can host film events without paying out of your department’s budget for screening rights – these are included for each and every film already. And, the collection is growing with over 200 films added each month.
