New Databases: U.S. Congressional Serial Set and American State Papers

We have added two new databases to our collection: The U.S. Congressional Serial Set, 1817-1994 and American State Papers, 1789-1838.

The U.S. Congressional Serial Set contains every publication from the 15th Congress through the 103rd Congress. Includes images of original documents and transcriptions, as well as over 50,000  maps.

American State Papers, originally republished in the second quarter of the 19th century, is a retrospective collection of largely Congressional, but also Executive, materials originating from 1789 through 1838. Covers major historical events as Lewis and Clark’s Expedition, Burr’s Conspiracy and Arrest, the Treaty of the Creek Indians made by Andrew Jackson, as well as speeches of U.S. Presidents.

All of our databases can be accessed on our database page.  Tell us what you think of these or any of our other databases via our evaluation form.
