New Editions of APA and MLA Style Guides

Did you know that both APA and MLA published new editions of their style guides this past summer? The new editions make changes to documentation style, especially for digital information. Here are some resources to help you navigate the changes.

APA, 6th Edition
• We have copies available at the circulation desk, behind the reference desk, and in the stacks - call number BF76.7 .P83 2010.

MLA, 7th Edition

• MLA’s website provides an FAQ to help you understand the changes.

We are also offering weekly workshops for students on RefWorks, a citation program that helps organize references and automatically generate bibliographies. Workshops take place every Wednesday at 2:00 pm through December 9. No reservation required, and faculty and staff are welcome.
