On Thursday, October 22 at 6:30 pm, Matt Twomey's "Duck Diaries: A Cold War Quest for Friendship across the Americas" will be shown in the multimedia room of the library. The second installment to the water film series development gives an in-depth look into a documented, Latin-American adventure that turns into a journey of controversies, and ultimately one of survival and willpower in the jungles surrounded by the Panama and Columbia.
This is an important historical film as well because if it were not for John F Kennedy, the outcome and continuance of these young men's filmed journey may have been terminated. The film's time period is the early 1960's and it was released in 2013.
