On March 19th, Ugetsu, a 1953 Japanese film directed by Kenzi Mizoguchi, will be shown in the DiMenna-Nyselius Multimedia Room at 7pm. Ugetsu is a story of fighting, romance, family and determination which takes place during the Japanese Civil Wars (1500s). Two husbands set out with a goal of making quick cash, but as they start receiving their profits, they are forced to make important decisions pertaining to their lives as husbands and members of their families.

The film was nominated for an Academy Award in 1953 (Best Costume Design, Black-and-White).
