
Welcome to the fall semester! Whether you are a new or returning student, staff, or faculty, we have some Library updates to share with you:
- A new Science Center joins the Academic Commons. This tutoring resource is located on the main level
- Peet’s Coffee and Sambazon will be opening in the Library Café, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm hours subject to change
- New Library Databases listed on the New/Trial section on the right side of our A to Z Databases page
- Update to our lending policies: longer loan periods and (almost) fine free!
- More books added to our Student Donated Textbook Collection
- New Study Skills tutorials added to our Tutorials page
- New research guide for the Fairfield University Art Museum's Arthur Szyk exhibition
- View our Library events which includes therapy dog visits, guided study sessions, and more
- Undergrads and grad students can apply to be a member of our Student Library Advisory Board. Apply by 9/21
- Welcome Ivelisse Maldonado, our new Research & Learning Librarian for the new Fairfield Bellarmine campus
Reminders
- Your StagCard is your Library card to borrow items. And your NetID will get you access to our electronic resources
- Borrow useful tech, study, and leisure items from our "Library of Things" collection
- Study Rooms are reserved from the Library homepage
- Librarians are available to help you with research, citations, and study skills
- Ask a Librarian for help by either dropping by the Library Services & Information Desk during staffed hours, using the 24/7 chat, sending us an email, or schedule a research appointment (in-person or virtual)
- Don't forget that we have tutorials and research and citation guides too
- Set up your free digital subscriptions to the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and The Chronicle of Higher Education
